Yes, it ain't opera..But Ethel Merman,whom I saw 5 times, was born on Jan.16, 1908. She and Zinka respected each other...they were two TOUGH girls.

   Some do not like the brassy sound..This clip is a little late in her career....but on stage she was a DYNAMO!!!!
