I play you my tape, with my yelling....at the greatest miracle. as the 65 year old Magda Olivero makes her Met debut in 1975. The ovation is cut...It was one of the greatest things in my opera life...Note 3:16.."RiMUUUUneri" cosi. The miracle lasted until age 104...but her caretaker said there was voice there almost till the end. Bless her!!!!!!!!!!!!I miss those birthday phone calls,where she spoke in "Verismo"
